A Brit who just travelled to to visit his partner has shared his initial shock of one big difference between the two countries that he can't get over.

A man named Rayhaan took to social media to document his recent visit to Canada, as he went to visit his wife in the Toronto area for the first time.

While cultural shocks and differneces are to be expected when you travel to a foreign country, and especially when living with locals, Rayhaan experienced his first cultural shock in the car journey on the way to his wife's , as he couldn't get his head around one big

"F**k me are these not mansions?" Rayhaan said at the start of his video, which has been viewed over 1.4 million times on his account.

Meanwhile, the camera showed them driving past a neighbourhood with several larged detached houses that all looked to be large two or three storey homes with built in garages.

** Warning: The below video contains strong language. **

"That's a mansion in England. Then, oh, another mansion. You're telling me these ain't mansions?" Rayhaan asked his partner who was driving the car.

As she denied his claim that the homes were mansions, he once again said: "What do you mean no? Look at the state of these houses. You're telling me they ain't mansions? [...] F**king hell. Mansion ones."

As they continued to drive past through the neighbourhood, they continued to pass several similar houses that were all large detached homes with built in single or double garages, multiple storages, and included a large driveway and front gardens. Some homes also had poarches that wrapped around the side of the home.

"This is a madness, I'm telling you, yeah. The houses here are insane," Rayhaan told his viewers. "I just can't get over it. This is just f**ked, it's just stupid. It's absolutely stupid. What is going on bro?"

"I don't know why she'd come to England," he said.

Several people soon took to the comments, with many telling Rayhaan that these home were in fact not 'common' Canadian homes.

"I'm canadian, those...are NOT standard houses, those people are wealthy," one person claimed, while a second viewer said: "Those are definitely NOT average middle class houses."

"They're priced like mansions now so let's just call them mansions and be done with it," a third viewer argued.

Another Brit found his way into the comments as he revealed: "As a British man in Canada I can confirm this is true... but after living here for five years it's sad to say that these are just average homes with million $ price tags which is ridiculous and what makes it worse is that these homes are made out of cardboard literally not even worth that much at max they should be $350 K..."

Another Brit claimed: "In South England they build a house like that, divide it into 4 terraced houses and sell them for 400k each."
