As per the National Stock Exchange (NSE), a total of 10 stocks have been placed under the Futures and Options (F&O) ban list for trading on Monday, June 16, 2025. These stocks have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL)triggering restrictions on taking fresh positions in the F&O segment.

Stocks in F&O Ban List:

  1. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL)

  2. Bulletas Ltd (BSoft)

  3. Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd (CHAMBLFERT)

  4. Central Depository Services (India) Ltd (CDSL)

  5. Hindustan Copper Ltd (HINDCOPPER)

  6. Indian Energy Exchange Ltd (IEX)

  7. Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA)

  8. Manappuram Finance LTD (Manappuram)

  9. RBL Bank Ltd (RBLBANK)

  10. Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (Titagarh)

Traders must note that no new positions are allowed in the F&O contracts of these stocks until the open interest drops below the prescribed limits. Existing positions can be squared off only.

The F&O ban is part of the market’s regulatory mechanism to avoid excessive speculation and maintain stability in derivative trading.
