Tarun Mansukhani’s latest comedy film ' Housefull 5 ' is still drawing big crowds even in its second week. The movie, which stars Akshay Kumar , Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh in leading roles, was released on 6 June and has kept the box office buzzing since day one.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has officially joined the Rs 150 crore club in India as it completes its tenth day in cinemas. The comedy entertainer is proving to be a solid hit, especially over the weekends.


Big weekend boost: Rs 11 crore on day 10

The second weekend gave 'Housefull 5' a strong push. On Saturday (Day 9), the film collected an impressive Rs 9.5 crore. On Sunday (Day 10), it saw an even bigger jump and brought in Rs 11 crore, according to Sacnilk’s early figures. With this, the total India net collection now stands at a massive Rs 153.75 crore.

Occupancy day 10

On Sunday, 15 June 2025, 'Housefull 5' recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 23.93%, proving that it’s still a popular weekend choice. Morning shows saw 9.29% turnout, while the afternoon peaked at 29.13%. Evening shows were the busiest at 35.29%, with night shows at 22.01%.

One major reason behind 'Housefull 5'’s massive appeal is its packed star cast. Alongside Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, the film features Jacqueline Fernandez , Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri and Soundarya Sharma . Add to that veterans like Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Panday, and comedy favourites like Johnny Lever and Shreyas Talpade, plus others like Dino Morea , Ranjeet, Nikitin Dheer, Chitrangda Singh and Fardeen Khan.
