Pune Indrayani River Bridge Collapsed: A major accident took place in Pune district of Maharashtra, where the bridge on the Indrayani river collapsed. When the bridge collapsed, many people were present on it. There are reports of 20-25 tourists being swept away and 5 people dying in this accident. Videos have also surfaced regarding this.

A bridge collapsed on the Indrayani river near Kundamala village under Pimpri-Chinchwad police station in Pune. Some tourists drowned due to the collapse of the bridge. It is being told that this incident happened around 3:30 pm. Police and rescue teams have reached the spot.

20-25 tourists drowned in the river

Talegaon Dabhade police of Pimpri-Chinchwad Commissionerate has reached the spot. This bridge has been built to cross Kundmala. People used to cross from one side to the other through this. Since it was Sunday, a large number of tourists were present there. Some people were standing on the bridge. It is not yet clear how many people have drowned. According to preliminary information, about 20 to 25 people have drowned.

The bridge was in a dilapidated condition

It is being told that this bridge was in a dilapidated condition. Some people had come on bikes on the bridge. Due to being overweight, a part of the bridge collapsed. 10 to 12 ambulances are present at the spot. Relief and rescue work is being done by the rescue team.
