Users of Reliance Jio, the country’s largest telecom company, faced the problem of network connectivity on Monday. Especially in the state of Kerala, South India, users could not do internet access and calling for some time.

More than 11 thousand complaints filed till 2 pm
According to the website Downdetetor, which tracks the problems faced in the network, around 11,000 complaints were filed till 2 pm. Of these:

56% of users had mobile internet problems

22% faced the problem of mobile network connectivity

22% affected Jio Fiber Services

This means that both broadband and mobile internet services came to a standstill for some time.

Jio cleaning: Now everything is normal
Reacting to this outage, Jio told NBT Tech that:

“This problem occurred only in Kerala for some time. Now the network has become completely normal and all services are working correctly.”

Since Monday afternoon, people were sharing complaints about network problems on X (East Twitter). Many users wrote that:

“The entire Kerala is lived out.”

“Is this happening only to me or is there a problem in the whole state?”

Some people even shared mimes and comic reactions. At the same time, journalist Rajesh Abraham wrote that Jio’s service remained closed for about 45 minutes.
