Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her debut with ' Ye Maaya Chesave ' in the Telugu film industry . It starred her along side Naga Chaitanya . That's when the duo also fell in love. The movie had released in 2010. Later in 2017, Chaitanya and Samantha tied the knot. However, it was hugely heartbreaking for fans as the duo announced their divorce in 2021. However, 'Ye Maaya Chesave' is set to re-release in cinemas now and fans cannot keep calm. They are speculating if Chay and Samantha can ever be seen together again off-screen even as professionals to promote the film as it re-releases. Fans are hoping for that and if not, even the chance to see them together on the big screen again has left the internet ablaze.
For those not in the know, Samantha also had a tattoo of 'YMC (Ye Maaya Chesave)' on her upper back. But recently she had shared a photo and it seemed like she has now removed that tattoo after her divorce. Chaitanya is now married to Sobhita Dhulipala . The duo tied the knot in December 2024. Meanwhile, Samantha is rumoured to be in a relationship with her 'Family Man' director Raj Nidimoru . While neither of the two have confirmed their relationship, they are often spotted together. Samantha had dropped a selfie with him on her social media which further raised speculations.
Meanwhile, Chay had spoken about his divorce with Samantha in Raw Talks With VK podcast and said, "It was for the betterment of whoever was involved in the marriage... Whatever the decision was, it was a very conscious decision after much thought and with a lot of respect for the other person. I'm saying this because it's a very sensitive topic for me. I come from a broken family. I'm a child from a broken family so I know what the experience is like. I will think 1000 times before breaking a relationship because I know the repercussions... It was a mutual decision."
'Ye Maaya Chesave' is set to re-release on July 18.
