In an inspiring display of raw talent and determination, 13 years old Ayan Raj from Bihar has taken the Indian cricketing world by storm with a phenomenal individual score of 327 runs in a single innings. The young prodigy achieved this milestone during a 30-over match in the District Cricket League in Muzaffarpur, representing the Sanskriti Cricket Academy.

His breathtaking knock, comprising 41 fours and 22 sixes, came off just 134 deliveries, producing an astonishing strike rate of over 200 and marking one of the most memorable performances at the grassroots level.

What makes Ayan’s journey even more remarkable is the influence of his close friend and role model 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi who has already made his presence felt in the IPL after debuting in the Ranji Trophy at the age of 12. Ayan spoke fondly of Vaibhav, saying that every interaction with him fuels his motivation and that they share a bond rooted in a mutual love for cricket since their early years.

Cricket is not just a sport in Ayan’s household, it’s a legacy. His father, a former cricketer who once aspired to play for India, now sees his son chasing that same dream with even greater determination. Ayan’s dedication is unwavering; whether it’s harsh weather, a festive day or logistical challenges, his training never stops. A small net on his rooftop serves as his regular practice area, reflecting a single-minded focus on cricket, even over academics.

Ayan’s triple-century is not just a personal achievement; it signals the arrival of a new name in India’s ever-growing pool of young cricketing aspirants. At just 13, his hunger to represent the country is as fierce as his batting, and with his passion and discipline, the journey seems promising.
