UPSC CAPF 2024 Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has disclosed the scores for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2024. Those who qualify can download their test scores on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. Interviews for the personality test were held from May 5 to June 5, 2025.

The reads, “The final selection/appointment of recommended candidates will be subject to the final outcome of the Writ Petition (Civil) No. 5877/2022 filed by Diwakar Pande & Ors. Vs. Ministry of Home Affairs & Ors. pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.”

The candidacy of the 97 recommended applicants remains tentative. The Commission has also produced a consolidated reserve list of 112 applicants who rank below the last recommended applicant. This list contains 56 general categories, 12 EWS, 37 OBC, three SC, and four ST.

According to the official notification, the scores of all applicants who took the exam are anticipated to be released within 15 days of the results being declared. UPSC CAPF Final Result 2024: Category-wise vacancy

The Government has reported a total of 515 vacancies to be filled across various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The distribution of vacancies among different services is as follows: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has 120 vacancies, which include 51 for General category, 11 for EWS, 32 for OBC, 17 for SC, and 9 for ST.

The Border Security Force (BSF) has the highest number of vacancies at 186, distributed as 75 for General, 19 for EWS, 50 for OBC, 28 for SC, and 14 for ST.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has 67 vacancies, including 23 for General, 7 for EWS, 20 for OBC, 13 for SC, and 4 for ST.

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) offers 42 vacancies, with 20 for General, 2 for EWS, 11 for OBC, 6 for SC, and 3 for ST. Lastly, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has 100 vacancies, including 47 for General, 15 for EWS, 14 for OBC, 16 for SC, and 8 for ST.
