The five-time IPL champions currently possess a reasonably strong squad. Despite not qualifying for the playoffs this past season, their lineup is well-balanced. The opening duo of Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway has demonstrated impressive performance in T20 matches. However, if Samson, who typically bats at the top of the order, is introduced, it could disrupt the existing synergy, particularly with Ruturaj Gaikwad anchoring the top order.
