Then I'll try and come back in the best shape possible for pre-season, and then we'll see what the future holds when those decisions come."

Kerkez may be joined by another high-profile signing. Reports suggest Florian Wirtz is poised to seal a deal beginning at £100million from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool this week.
