The brand-new reality show The Traitors has kicked off with a bang, creating waves of excitement across the internet. Hosted by the ever-charismatic Karan Johar, the show premiered on Prime Video on June 12 with its first three gripping episodes. The nail-biting episodes, psychological gameplay and impressive lineup of celebrity contestants have left viewers eager to watch the unfolding twists, evictions and intense challenges.

The first season will feature a total of 10 episodes, which will unfold gradually over four weeks. Following the premiere, the OTT giant announced that viewers can see who can outsmart, outlast and ultimately unmask the Traitors every Thursday at 8 PM. Prime Video will drop three new episodes every week, allowing viewers to binge-watch or stay entertained for several days.

As per the detailed schedule, interested viewers can mark their calendars for June 19 to watch episodes 4, 5 and 6. The makers will then release episodes 7, 8 and 9 on June 26 at 8 PM. The grand finale episode, which is episode 10, will premiere on July 3.

Filmed at the luxurious and majestic Hotel Suryagarh in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, The Traitors brings together 20 well-known personalities from across the entertainment industry in a game of deception, strategy and survival. The reality TV show follows a unique format where contestants are divided into two opposing factions: the loyal players and the hidden ‘Traitors’ (also referred to as Mafias). Among the star-studded lineup are Anshula Kapoor, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvee Gaurr, Jasmine Bhasin, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), Purav Jha, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, Raftaar and Sufi Motiwala.

By day, players work together to build a prize pot worth Rs 1 crore through intense tasks. But by night, secret traitors attempt to sabotage and eliminate their fellow players during high-tension roundtable eliminations. At the end of the season, the innocents will have to unmask all the traitors to win the prize. But if even one traitor survives, he will walk away with the entire prize money.

As of now, three players and one traitor have been eliminated from the show. The names are Karan Kundrra, Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu and Raj Kundra (one of the traitors). With high-stakes mind games, betrayals, shifting alliances, and a jaw-dropping Rs 1 crore prize at stake, The Traitors promises to be one of the most thrilling reality shows of the year.
