UPSC Recruitment 2025: If you are looking for a government job, then the new recruitment of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) can be a great opportunity for you. UPSC has released a notification for recruitment to a total of 462 posts in various departments. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting upsconline.gov.in till 3 July 2025. Candidates can print the application form by 4 July 2025.

This recruitment includes many important posts including Deputy Superintendent Horticulturist, Company Prosecutor, Assistant Director, Deputy Architect, Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor, Deputy Assistant Director (Non-Medical), and Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (Technical).

Who can apply?

To apply for this recruitment of UPSC, the candidate must have graduated or higher educational qualification in the relevant subject. Valid degrees include B.E./B.Tech, M.Sc., B.A., MBBS, MS/MD/MCH/DM, DNB, M.Phil and PhD. Educational qualifications may vary according to the post, so candidates must read the official notification for detailed information.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 30 years and the maximum age at 45 years, although this may also vary according to the post. In addition, reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

Salary and Selection Process

This recruitment of UPSC is being done under the Level-8 Pay Matrix, according to which the selected candidates will be given a salary of about ₹ 47,600 per month as initial salary. Apart from this, other allowances will also be available as per the rules. The selection process will be completed in two phases. First of all, the candidates will have to take a written exam, after which the successful candidates will be called for an interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in both the phases and eligible candidates will be selected.

To apply, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 25. Application is free for women, SC, ST, and PwBD category candidates.
