SSC CPO SI Exam 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued an important notice on June 16. The commission said that the notification for the examination 2025 for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) has been postponed for the time being. This notification was earlier to be released on June 15, 2025, as per the official examination calendar of the commission, but now it has been postponed.

SSC has uploaded the information on its official portal ssc.gov.in and said that the new date will be announced soon. The commission has not yet clarified the reason for postponing the notification. However, the candidates have been waiting for this recruitment notification for a long time. Candidates wishing to get the job of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPF will now wait for the next information.

Last year there were 4,187 vacancies.

It is worth noting that the Staff Selection Commission conducts recruitment examinations for thousands of posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Paramilitary Forces every year. Lakhs of youth from all over the country apply for this. Last year (in 2024) notification was issued for a total of 4,187 posts for SSC CPO – Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment. There were 4,001 vacancies in CAPF and 186 SI vacancies in Delhi Police.

What will be the recruitment process?

The SI recruitment process in Delhi Police and CAPF consists of Paper-1, Physical Test, and Paper-2. This is followed by medical examination and document verification.
