Incident on SpiceJet Flight

During air travel, passengers often enjoy meals served by airlines. However, there are instances when the food quality falls short. A recent incident on a SpiceJet flight highlighted this issue.

A group of passengers on a SpiceJet flight expressed their dissatisfaction with the quality of food served during a delay, reportedly mistreating airline staff at Pune Airport. A video circulating on social media shows agitated passengers surrounding a SpiceJet ground staff member, demanding that he eat the same food they received.

In response to the situation, the airline released a statement refuting the passengers' claims, asserting that the food provided was fresh and of good quality. SpiceJet clarified, "The meal was sourced from an authorized vendor that supplies packaged food not only to SpiceJet but also to several other airlines and customers within the terminal."

Commenting on the incident, the airline condemned the behavior of the passengers towards its staff. SpiceJet stated, "Our ground staff perform their duties with utmost dedication and to the best of their abilities. The behavior displayed towards our employees in the video is unfortunate and unacceptable."

The airline emphasized that its employees remained courteous, respectful, and professional despite facing verbal abuse and inappropriate physical conduct. SpiceJet reiterated its support for its ground crew and strongly condemned any form of mistreatment or aggression against them.
