Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par is just a few days away from its theatrical release on June 20. The 60-year-old actor has confirmed that the film will not have an OTT release and will be available exclusively in cinemas. Amid this, the actor reportedly has rejected a massive Rs 120 crore from OTT platform Amazon Prime Video for the digital rights of the film.

According to trade analyst Komal Nahta, Aamir wants to assess whether withholding a film's availability on digital platforms for eight weeks after its release can motivate audiences to return to cinemas. The actor will reportedly make Sitaare Zameen Par available on YouTube after its successful theatrical run, but it won’t be free, the audiences will have to pay to watch the film.
