Drivers on the are facing delays following the closure of two lanes of . A crash on June 17 prompted vehicles to come to a standstill between junctions 22 at Saddleworth and 21 at Milnrow.

While traffic started to flow again after the incident was resolved, two out of three lanes remain closed.

The incident was described by traffic monitoring website Inrix as a collision, with the latest updates suggesting that emergency repairs are ongoing.
