An Air India flight took off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Airport in Ahmedabad for Gatwick in London. Vishwas Kumar Ramesh was sitting on seat number 11A. The plane took off and within a few seconds it crashed into the hostel of BJ Medical College. Seat 11A was near the emergency exit.
'I thought I was going to die'
Vishwas Kumar himself said that he did not expect to survive. He said that he could not believe how he came out alive. Ramesh said that I also thought that I was going to die. The plane stopped after take off and the lights inside started turning on. When I opened my eyes, I realized that I had survived.
