icon is one of the most famous musicians in the world after he soared to stardom with the band in the 1960s. Shortly after he found fame, he purchased a lavish home in St John's Wood, London back in 1965. The £16.5million home is just a stone's throw away from the famed Abbey Road Studios and zebra crossing featured on The Beatles 11th album cover and where he held his wedding reception with Nancy Shevell in 2011.

The star - - bought the property for £40,000 but a neighbouring property recently went up for sale for £16.4million, highlighting how the property has skyrocketed in value. The dad-of-five has shared several snaps from inside his humble abode over the years, sharing his love of colour and references to the band included framed photographs and instruments.

Front door

Paul - - shared a snap taken from his front door during the height of Covid-19 when he asked fans to ask him questions on social media. The door was painted a beautiful denim blue surrounded by white walls.

Paul decorated it with an enormous hanging wreath which was decorated gold metallic baubles and dried sliced oranges. He also gave fans a sneak peek inside his hallway which was decorated with framed artwork on the walls and included their own personal lights.

Lavish hallway

Paul shared a snap of his hallway after it was beautifully decorated for his birthday in 2018. It boasts high ceilings and arched doorways as well as a curved staircase that wraps around the property.

The doting dad added a pop of colour with a pride painting of two multicoloured hearts, and a large bunch of fllowers on the entryway sidetable.

Home recording studio

Back in 2019, Paul shared an image of himself at his 'magic piano' from inside his home studio. The intrument is painted with a kaleidoscopic pattern, wihle the rest of the room boasts cream walls and wooden furniture including side cupboards and bookshelves.

Various paintint commemorating his time with The Beatles were mounted upon the wall. Another snap taken in the same room revealed that there is a retro white radiator, and white sash windows with matching shutters.

Tranquil bathroom

Paul has a large white bath tub in his relaxing bathroom. It's framed with cream marble, and there is an arched window with matching white blinds and white mirrored cabinet.
