It has already been confirmed that season five of Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm is in the works, as the fourth season dropped last month. But while most fans normally can't wait to see more of Jeremy Clarkson and his farm crew, some viewers have expressed that they are actually "dreading" the next installment, as they have passed the blame on to Sir Kier Starmer and his Labour government.

Taking to Reddit, one fan shared their thoughts, as they wrote: "I'm dreading next season. I love , it's one of my most regular go-to when I want to watch something feel good, funny and engaging. Next season is almost exclusively going to be political." It comes as that meant that agricultural land, which was previously given an exemption in 1992, would now have to pay 20% IHT over certain thresholds - something that the 65-year-old presenter openly protested about.

The fan did not hold back, as they continued: "Clarkson was on the news regularly campaigning and protesting the proposed changes. I'm certain that is all next season is going to be about, because frankly this policy change was brought in specifically because of people like him.

"Extremely wealthy people who buy farms so they can avoid , have no intention of farming it themselves and are simply land banking as a vehicle to avoid tax. Without realising it he's actually the biggest example of precisely why these tax changes are needed."

They added: "Next season, Clarkson is going to use his soapbox to lecture all of us on why he, a multi-millionaire, is truly hard done by and I'm dreading it."

However, not all fans agreed with the original poster, as one replied: "It occurs to me that Amazon and Jeremy himself won't actually want to antagonise/bore half his audience by doing this. I'm sure that there will be one episode where Jeremy lets other farmers put their point across. But that's probably about it."

Another added: "Regardless of what you think of him, the man is an entertainer, he knows how to make interesting television. He will not make it boring, in my opinion."

Season five hasn't got a release date yet, but Lisa Hogan and the Diddly Squat Farm team are sharing snippets from the show. However, Jeremy recently hinted that the fifth season might be the last.

He told : "I'd do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a bloody good story... Whatever happens we'll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We've been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest."
