The grand player auction for the third season of the UP T20 League took place at Hotel Centrum in Lucknow, where more than 200 players from across the state went under the hammer.

The event was held in the presence of senior officials, franchise owners, and media representatives.

Chairman of the Governing Council, Devendra Singh Chauhan, welcomed all dignitaries and emphasised the journey of the league that began three years ago.

He expressed special gratitude to BCCI Vice President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla for his continuous support and leadership, which has played a pivotal role in the league’s growth. Chauhan recalled how the UP T20 League was never just another tournament it was envisioned as a structured, professional, and inclusive platform to discover cricketing talent from schools and fields across Uttar Pradesh.
