CGHGCD Recruitment 2025: Chhattisgarh Fire and Emergency Services Department has issued a recruitment notification to fill 295 vacant posts. The process of online application for these posts will start on July 1, 2025, and interested candidates will be able to fill out their forms till July 31, 2025. Applications can be made through the website cghgcd.gov.in.

Under this recruitment campaign, various categories of posts have been included in the fire department, such as station officer, driver, operator, fireman, storekeeper, mechanic, etc.

Details of vacant posts
A total of 295 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. These include:
Station Officer (Sub Inspector) – 21 posts
Vehicle Driver – 14 posts

Educational Qualification
Educational and technical qualifications have been prescribed separately as per the post:
Station Officer (Sub Inspector): B.Sc or B.E in Firefighting subject from a recognized university.
Vehicle Driver and Driver cum Operator: 12th pass and must have a valid driving license.
Fireman: 12th class passed.
Store Keeper: 12th pass.
Mechanic: 12th pass and Diploma in Diesel Mechanic trade from ITI.
Watchroom Operator: 12th pass and trained Nagar Sainik.
Wireless Operator (Contract): 12th pass, along with Nagar Sainik trained as a Wireless Operator.

The minimum age of the candidate applying should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 28 years. Candidates from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other reserved categories will be given 5 years relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Physical Efficiency Test is mandatory
Along with educational qualification, Physical Efficiency Test will also be mandatory for all these posts. Candidates will have to be successful in this stage of the selection process.
