Along with this, the body of his brother Ajay has also been handed over to the family. Air India flight AI 171 crashed in Ahmedabad last week in a horrific plane crash. In this accident, passenger Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, who was sitting on seat number 11A of the plane, survived. Now Vishwas has been discharged from Ahmedabad Civil Hospital on late Tuesday night. Medical Superintendent Dr Rakesh Joshi said that Vishwas managed to get out of the burning plane and was the second patient to be admitted to the hospital after the accident.

Dr Joshi said that the hospital had offered to help Vishwas' family reach their home in Diu (Union Territory). Along with this, the airline had offered to arrange hotel accommodation for Vishwas and his family, but his family rejected Air India's offer and said that they had made their own arrangements.

Brother Ajay's body handed over to the family

Vishwas' younger brother Ajay, who was travelling on seat 11-J of the crashed plane, died in the accident. Officials at the mortuary complex said Ajay's body was identified through DNA analysis. His body was handed over to the family at 2:10 am on Wednesday. According to media reports, the family has left for their home in Diu for Ajay's last rites.

Three died during treatment

In this tragic accident, 241 people including passengers and crew members lost their lives. Along with this, many people also died on the spot. Some were also injured in this accident. 19 patients are still admitted to different hospitals in the state. At the same time, three patients have died during treatment.

Flights are being disrupted globally

After the accident, many airlines around the world cancelled their flights due to security checks. Many flights have also had frightening experiences due to technical faults and bad weather mid-way. According to media reports, this accident is a big setback for the aviation industry.
