FASTag Annual Pass: If you travel on highways, then there is good news for you. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has announced a FASTag-based Annual Pass for non-commercial vehicles traveling on highways. Through this pass, passengers can make 200 trips on national highways for 1 year. This pass is especially going to be very useful for those passengers who often travel on highways and recharge their FASTag repeatedly to cross the toll. Through this new pass, passengers can avoid the hassle of recharging again and again by making payment once.

Nitin Gadkari today announced this new FASTag Annual Pass through his official X handle. The price of this pass is Rs 3000. It is worth noting that this facility will be started from 15 August 2025. After August 15, you can activate this annual pass and take advantage of it throughout the year. If you also want to take advantage of this pass, then know here when and how you can apply for it.

How to Apply For FASTag Annual Pass

You do not need to go anywhere to get FASTag Annual Pass. You can apply for this pass digitally from home. The government is going to release a dedicated link to this pass soon on the website of NHAI and MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways). At present this link is not available.

1. First of all go to Rajmarg Yatra App or NHAI/MoRTH website.

2. After the FASTag Annual Pass link goes live on these sites, click on the link.

3. Now enter your FASTag details.

4. After this, enter your vehicle registration details and mobile number.

5. After filling all the details, you will have to pay Rs 3000 for the pass. You can complete the payment process through your debit, credit and UPI.

6. After the payment is completed, the Annual Pass will be automatically activated in your FASTag account.
