star Helen George went public with her new romance earlier this year after splitting from her co-star. The actress, known for her role as Nurse Trixie Franklyn in the hit series, confirmed her split from Jack Ashton after seven years together in 2023. The duo met when Jack joined the cast as vicar Tom Hereward in 2014. In a statement, she said: "Some months ago, we separated. Our two beautiful girls remain the focus and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter."
Following the breakdown of her marriage, it was reported she began dating her Call the Midwife co-star Olly Rix, with the duo growing close after splitting from their spouses in the same year. However, their relationship also came to an end and Helen signed up to celebrity dating app Raya in a bid to move on. It was on this site that she reportedly met Dan Innes, a divorced father-of-two.
Dan, who grew up in Wales, is a real estate developer who declares himself a "future thinker and global voyeur" on his page. Helen, 40, went public with their romance in February, sharing snaps from a romantic meal they enjoyed out on Valentine's Day.
While she didn't show his face, by posting an image of the BBC star holding a bottle of wine alongside the caption: "Can I get this to go please? #yesyesyes".
The couple then spent a cosy weekend at the dog friendly Tawny Hotel in Stoke on Trent the following month. The snaps uploaded by Helen showcased the pair's robes, a subtle hand of cards placed on Dan's leg, and further snapshots of her dog enjoying a walk in the countryside.
Confirming their relationship, she posted a selfie of the duo mid-walk. "A glorious weekend was had by all at @thetawnyhotel. Relaxing, delicious and hearty," Helen penned in the caption.
The couple have been going strength to strength since going public with their romance and spent Easter with Helen's two daughters, Wren Ivy and Lark.
