is set for a busy week of royal engagements next week as part of London Climate Action Week. In his role as President and and as Founder of The Royal Foundation's United for Wildlife, the Prince of Wales, 42, will attend events at the climate festival that aim to focus on how nature and the climate can be improved.

Prince William's first engagement at the climate festival will take place on June 24, when the future King will take part in the "Leading With Impact" event, which will be hosted by The Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies. The event will recognise and celebrate the inspirational achievements of the 2024 cohort of Finalists, and highlight collaborations that are being formed to scale and accelerate progress for climate solutions.

At the event, William will meet Michael R. Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg Philanthropies and Global Advisor to The Earthshot Prize Winners, before joining in with a workshop with 2024 Earthshot Prize Finalists.

Here, the prince will be able to hear about their progress and future ambitions since becoming a part of the Earthshot Prize last year.

William will also join an onstage discussion with Robert Irwin, The Rt Hon Dame Jacinda Ardern, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and Trustee of the Earthshot Prize, and Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber, where they will reflect on the success of The Prize so far and their ambitions for its future. Bloomberg Philanthropies and Uber play key roles in this as Global Alliance Founding Partners of The Earthshot Prize.

The prince's next engagement will take place on June 26, with the first-in-line to the throne set to attend a high-level roundtable entitled 'Nature's Guardians: On the Road to COP30 & Beyond', at St James's Palace.

The prince, who is Founder of The Royal Foundation's United for Wildlife programme, will hold important discussions at the table with government leaders, philanthropic institutions, representatives from Indigenous Peoples and local communities.

As well as focusing on actions that can be taken for the future, the discussion will also celebrate the critical role Indigenous Peoples and local communities have in protecting nature and achieving climate goals.

Kensington Palace has said the Prince will meet key attendees before making opening remarks at the top of the session, with the Rt Hon Ed Miliband MP, Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, and Marina Silva, Minister of the Environment and Climate Change of Brazil, set to be in attendance.

For his final engagement for London Climate Action Week, the Prince will attend 'Investing for Impact' on June 26 at the Guildhall. Hosted by The Earthshot Prize, the event will focus on success stories from the Prize and will allow potential investors to connect with environmental solutions.

Princess Kate is not expected to attend any of these events with her husband this year. This is because the princess, 43, rarely appears alongside William on his environmental engagements, which are among his own personal key royal projects.
