Earlier this month, the James Bond franchise unveiled its latest official adventure with 007 First Light.
The upcoming video game stars a 26-year-old version of Ian Fleming's spy earning his Licence to Kill.
The IO Interactive production features motion-capture performances from Lennie James and a yet-to-be-officially announced new Bond actor.
Yet following the video game's first trailer, fans soon worked out that it was pretty much clear 007 was being played by young Dexter star Patrick Gibson.
The 30-year-old Irish actor has now dropped a massive hint that he is, in fact, the latest star to officially play Bond.
Speaking with Emmy Magazine, Gibson said: "I'm in London. I was shooting a video game and was doing mocap and had all these f***ing dots on my head. I just hopped out of the suit [...] I'm still in the studio." Given his likeness to First Light's Bond and the fact that he's said this, it basically confirms he's the latest official 007. However, we're still waiting for the announcement of the next big-screen one. But what if it was him, too? Wouldn't that be a twist? Although bookies' favourite Aaron Taylor-Johnson dropped a cryptic 5 words just last night.
