Business Business: Tesla’s sales of new cars in the UK in May have fallen more than 45% compared to last year, as revealed by data from New Automotive. The company sold only 1,758 units in this month, compared to 3,244 in May last year.

Despite this, Tesla remains the best -selling battery electric vehicle (BEV) in Britain in 2023. The total new car registration in Britain increased by 4.3% to 144,098 units in May, and BEV sales increased by 28% year -on -year.
