Two of ITV's most popular quiz shows, The Chase and Tipping Point, have been removed from the broadcaster's schedules this week alongside Loose Women in a significant reshuffle.

The usual evening line-up of quiz shows on ITV1 has been disrupted, much to the disappointment of fans.

Neither The Chase nor Tipping Point were broadcasted on Thursday, 19th June, and they were also absent on Tuesday and Wednesday. Both programmes will continue to be off air on Friday as well.

Tipping Point, presented by Ben Shephard, typically airs at 4pm on weekdays, followed by The Chase at 5pm, hosted by Bradley Walsh.

Both Tipping Point and The Chase have been displaced from the ITV schedule due to the broadcaster airing live coverage of Royal Ascot, reports Belfast Live.

The coverage was shown on ITV1 from 1.30pm until 6pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with Friday's schedule also occupied by the racing event.

While ITV1's morning programming has largely remained unchanged, the channel's popular daytime show Loose Women has been taken off air all week due to these alterations.

In contrast, This Morning has been extended by 30 minutes each day, broadcasting from 10am until 1pm. This is then followed by a 30-minute segment of ITV News, which would usually air at 1.30pm but has been brought forward.

Once the racing coverage concludes at 6pm, ITV News returns until 7.30pm, with the soaps, Coronation Street and Emmerdale, then following in their usual slots.

A massive reshuffle of the schedule is underway as the channel has announced that it's being compelled to slash the budget for daytime TV, with Loose Women, Lorraine and Good Morning Britain bearing the brunt.

It's reported that producers have decided to axe the 100-capacity live audience from Loose Women next year, as part of a series of cost-cutting measures. The daytime programme will also be reduced to just 30 episodes in 2026.

The move to eliminate Loose Women's audience is understood to be a measure to save costs. The audience is handled by an external firm, which provides security and a warm-up act.

In the meantime, the morning chat show Lorraine will lose its long-standing one-hour slot from January 2026, and will now only air for 30 minutes, from 9:30am until 10am. Good Morning Britain will see its current 6am to 9am slot extended until 9:30am.

The Chase, Tipping Point and Loose Women can all be streamed via ITVX.
