ARB, a very well know Australian accessories manufacturer, which mainly puts out accessories for off-road trucks has decked out the new Kia Tasman. The vehicle seems quite purposeful and ready for the outback. It gets the usual ARB treatment which includes a lot of bar work, some lights and also a rear canopy in place of a regular bed.
Lets start from the front. There is a full metal front bumper which goes around the headlights and something that should offer good protection if wildlife comes in front of you. There is also a subtle version without the hoops. The front bumper merges into the rock sliders and there are other bits like auxiliary lighting, tow points and off road tyres. There is also a roof rack.
Things get a little more interesting on the rear. ARB has removed the regular bed and there is now a full metal canopy which should be handy for those who want to complete their overland dreams in their Kia Tasman truck.
The Kia Tasman was launched last year and has proven to be a pretty capable truck, or UTE as the Australians like to call it. It comes with a 2.2L diesel engine and has a proper 4×4 system with low range. These ARB accessories make it even more capable and are surely going to increase its appeal within the off-road community.
