After the disappointing performance of Lal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan is gearing up for a strong comeback with his new film Sitare Zameen Par. With just hours left for its release, all eyes are on the advance bookings and whether this film can surpass the first-day earnings of his previous flop.

Aamir has taken a unique approach with Sitare Zameen Par by keeping ticket prices reasonable and limiting the number of shows. Notably, the film will not release on any OTT platform, emphasizing a theatrical-only experience. Fans and critics alike have high expectations as this marks Aamir’s return after three years.

Despite its failure, Lal Singh Chaddha earned over ₹11 crores on day one. Currently, advance booking data from Saccanilk shows that Sitare Zameen Par has already collected ₹1.03 crores (excluding block bookings) and ₹3.64 crores including block bookings. Directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the film’s strong start is promising.
