Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is set to make waves in the music world with a unique collaboration, releasing a duet with his compatriot and tennis sensation Jannik Sinner.

The song, titled 'Polvere e Gloria' which translates to 'Dust And Glory', will feature the world number one tennis player Sinner echoing phrases from his victory and concession speeches, which he recorded at Bocelli's studio nestled in the picturesque Tuscan countryside.

Described as a "musical dialogue between two Italian icons", the track marries the grandeur of opera with the art of storytelling, incorporating both Italian and English lyrics.

Sinner expressed his delight about the project, saying: "I am very happy and honoured to be part of this project with Andrea, who for 30 years has been a unique and extraordinary voice, a flag for our country in the rest of the world.

"I could never have imagined hearing my voice in one of his songs. It's extremely moving."

The music video accompanying the single promises to be a heartfelt journey, showcasing personal and archival footage from both Bocelli's and Sinner's early years, as well as moments captured during their time together at Bocelli's estate.

Fans can look forward to the release on June 20 through Decca Records/Universal Music.

Sinner has made history as the first Italian to secure the top spot in tennis rankings.

Bocelli, whose illustrious career began in 1994 with the album 'Il Mare Calmo Della Sera', rose to fame after his days serenading patrons in piano bars. With nearly 90 million records sold globally, Bocelli has graced stages at significant global events, including the Olympic Games and the World Cup, cementing his status as an international musical icon.
