Comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui marked his much-anticipated OTT debut with the Amazon series First Copy, a nostalgic crime drama set in the 1990s. The show dives into the era of booming movie fandom and the rise of film piracy, following the story of Arif, a street-smart man who becomes a piracy kingpin.

Star-Studded Premiere and Bigg Boss Reunion
At a recent special screening of First Copy, Munawar welcomed guests with warmth and style, dressed in a green blazer and matching pants. The premiere turned into a mini Bigg Boss reunion, with former contestants Abhishek Kumar, Rinku Dhawan, and Falaq Naaz walking the red carpet. Fans and paparazzi cheered especially loud when Munawar and Abhishek posed together, highlighting their close bond.

Initially, Abhishek posed with Rinku, later calling Falaq to join in. He then called Munawar over for a duo moment, making it a highlight of the night. Their camaraderie, which began during Bigg Boss 17, continues to blossom off-screen. In a recent chat with Siddharth Kannan, Abhishek shared, “Your soul gets happy meeting him… our bond has grown stronger. Bigg Boss turned out well for both of us — he won, I was the runner-up.”

When teased about female attention, Abhishek joked that Munawar attracts more, blaming Bigg Boss for creating certain lasting “images.”
