The Campaign was inaugurated on 18th June, 2025 at Churchgate and Indore stations under Mumbai Central and Ratlam Divisions respectively. It will also be run at Andheri, Borivali, Ujjain & Ratlam stations over a period of 15 days.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, this unique campaign has been conceptualized with an aim to have a maximum outreach to commuters with special focus on younger audiences and families. The campaign has been designed to blend engaging visuals with impactful safety messages, leveraging the popularity of Chhota Bheem. It is aimed to make important safety lessons more simple and effective. Subsequently, this campaign will be extended to other stations & Divisions also and more such themes on various railway related social awareness will be promoted.

Vineet informed that to ensure a broad and multi-dimensional outreach, Western Railway is executing the campaign across multiple platforms such as Digital and Social media, Hoardings and Station banners, Radio spots and SMS campaign. As part of the initiative, exhibition kiosks have been set up at Churchgate and Indore, and will soon be expanded to Andheri, Borivali, Ujjain, and Ratlam stations over the period of next 15 days. The exhibition engages passengers of all ages with its creative backdrop visuals and Safety Quiz.

Vineet further added that in a unique initiative to promote public awareness and railway safety, Western Railway has entered into a collaboration with Chhota Bheem. Through this strategic collaboration, WR aims to harness the wide appeal of the Chhota Bheem characters to effectively communicate essential messages on railway safety and responsible behavior in railway premises, particularly targeting younger audiences and families. Notably, the nationwide and global popularity of Chhota Bheem has a good impact on children and has the potential to influence them positively. Western Railway's initiative aligns with this sentiment by integrating these familiar characters into public interest campaigns to enhance reach and engagement.
