New Delhi, New Delhi: The Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) has announced that actress-turned-politician MP Kangana Ranaut has been appointed as the brand ambassador of New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championship. A release issued by PCI said that Kangana Rana-Athletics for Para-Athletics in India would bring . As a brand ambassador, she will promote the values of flexibility, inclusion and excellence – which is the basic principle of the championship. Sharing her views on this new role, Kangana Ranaut said that India’s para athletes are writing every day whether it is possible.
“I am very respected to support them and to help raise awareness about their incredible achievements. Para game is not just about competition – it’s about courage, and I am proud to stand behind our champions.” PCI President and two -time paralympic gold medalist Devendra Jhajharia said that he is thrilled to include Kangana in the team. “His passion, influence and commitment to India’s athletes makes him an ideal ambassador for New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships.” New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships will participate in more than 100 countries athletes and will be the largest para-game organized by India.
The PCI aims to reach Para Games to every Indian home, school and heart. More than 1,000 athletes will participate in Jawaharlal Stadium during the championship to be held from 27 September to 5 October. This will be the 12th edition of the competition.
