VIDEO: Overhead Wire Breakdown Near Palghar Station Affects Western Railway Trains Newspoint  |  21/06/2025 03:39:15

Mumbai: Train services on both UP and DOWN lines were severely affected Friday evening following an overhead wire breakdown near Palghar station of Western Railway. The incident was reported around 6:55 pm causing major disruptions in train movement along the route.

According to railway officials, both UP and DOWN trains were held up due to a technical snag. A tower wagon was immediately dispatched to the site to begin restoration work.

Mumbai News: Local Trains Face Major Disruptions Due To Rain, Waterlogging & Technical Issues

Efforts are currently underway to repair the damaged overhead equipment and restore normal train operations.
