The Survivors is a six-part Australian drama and boasts an impressive 100% rating from review platform Rotten Tomatoes. All episodes landed on the streamer on June 6 and subscribers have been lapping it up.

Based on the book of the same name by multi-award winning author Jane Harper, it is set in Evelyn Bay in Tasmania. It focuses on a man called Kieran Elliot who returns home to the area with his wife Mia and their infant daughter to help his parents move.

However, it is a far from happy homecoming as fifteen years earlier, a severe storm resulted in the deaths of his brother and a close friend. When a young woman is found murdered after washing up on the beach it brings buried secrets to the forefront and forces the small, close-knit coastal community to confront the events of the past.
