Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The boundaries of districts, Tehsils and blocks will be demarcated with the help of the Indian Institute of Public Administration.

The State Administrative Reforms Commission is going to ink a pact with IIPA. Nine months have passed since the commission was formed, but its working was slow due to lack of basic facilities.

Now, the commission will collect data with the help of IIPA and submit a report to the government. A survey will be carried out to see which district needs demarcation of boundaries.

The necessity of the districts which were formed in the past few years will also be studied.

International Yoga Day 2025: CM Mohan Yadav Lauds Yoga As ‘Divine Gift Of Sanatan Dharma’

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav set up the State Administrative Reforms Commission after there were some disputes over the demand for making Bina a separate district in September last year.

After Yadav ordered the formation of the commission, the pressure on him to form new districts and Tehsils reduced. If there is any demand for creating new districts, the government puts it off in the name of the commission.

Initially, a retired IAS officer, Manoj Shrivastava, was appointed a member of the commission. Afterwards, another retired officer, Mukesh Shukla, was appointed member of the commission.

Shrivastava was appointed the chairman of the state election commission. In February this year, retired IAS officer SN Mishra was appointed a member of the commission. Similarly, Akshay Kumar Singh was appointed its member secretary.

The appointment of these officers has boosted the functioning of the commission. The members of the commission have to visit different places across the state and submit a report to the government.

Now, the IIPA will study all aspects and submit a report so that the commission’s recommendations are highly practical.
