BPSC Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025: There is great news for the candidates waiting for teacher recruitment in Bihar. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the recruitment of special school teachers for more than 7 thousand posts under the Education Department. BPSC has released the official notification of this recruitment on its official website bpsconline.bihar.gov.in, in which candidates will be able to fill out the online form from July 2. The last date for application is 28 July. The application fee will also be submitted by this day.

Bihar Special School Teacher Vacancy 2025: Details of the post

The new recruitment of Bihar is for Special School Teacher Class 1-5 and Class 6-8. It includes subjects like hearing impaired, low vision, speech and language, autism, special learning, multiple disabilities, etc. You can see the details of the vacancy along with the post from the table below.

Bihar Special School Teacher Qualification: Vacancy Details
For the government job of a teacher in a special school, the candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (12th) or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 percent marks or should have a valid CRR number of Indian Rehabilitation along with D.El.Ed in Special Education from an institute recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. At the same time, for graduation (class 6-8), one should have a graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Also, there should be a valid CSSR number along with a B.Ed in Special Education from an institute recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Apart from this, the candidates should have passed BSSTET Paper-I for classes 1-5 and BSSTET Paper-II for classes 6-8 and should have 6 months of teaching training in the field of disability.

Govt Special School Teacher Salary: Age Limit
Age Limit- For special school teachers of all categories, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years on August 1, 2025, and the maximum age should be 37 years for unreserved male candidates, 40 years for backward class/extremely backward class (male and female) and unreserved women and 42 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (male and female) on August 1, 2023.

Salary- Teachers of classes 1-5 will be given Rs 25,000 per month and teachers of classes 6-8 will be given Rs 28000 per month.

Selection Process- Written examination (objective) type questions will be taken. Interviews will not be taken. A merit list will be prepared based on marks.

Application Fee- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Female/Divyang candidates will have to pay Rs 200 as an application fee. At the same time, candidates of the general category and all other categories will have to pay Rs 750 as an application fee.
