Businessman and polo enthusiast Sunjay Kapur, former husband of actor Karisma Kapoor, passed away unexpectedly on June 13 at the age of 53. The Chairman of Sona Comstar was in London at the time, where he reportedly collapsed during a polo match. As per those close to the family, Sunjay suffered a heart attack after accidentally swallowing a bee while on the field.
Now, a chilling video has surfaced on social media capturing the tense final moments from the polo ground. In the footage, emergency responders can be seen administering CPR to a man lying on the grass, surrounded by three ambulances and a medical helicopter awaiting landing clearance. While the person’s identity isn’t visibly confirmed, players wearing SUJÁN Indian Tigers Polo Team jerseys can be seen nearby—Sunjay was a member of the same team.

Earlier this week, Sunjay’s teammates shared a photo of him posing with friend and fellow player Jaisal Singh. The image was clicked just hours before tragedy struck.
Their message read: "Today we play the final of the Cartier Trophy in the memory of our dear friend Sunjay Kapur who tragically passed away on the field a few days ago. Our Captain and Patron, Jaisal Singh, will mount up with the team to observe a minute's silence in honour of his dear old friend Sunjay, and then sit out as a mark of respect 🙏🏼."
