Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) 2025 counseling is going on for admission in IITs, NITs, and other engineering colleges of the country, under which seats have been allotted based on the first round of Josaa 2025 counseling. Meanwhile, Josaa has changed the schedule of counseling. According to the new schedule, now the students selected based on the first round can report till June 22. Earlier the second round was to start from June 21. Let us know what is in the new schedule. What changes have been made to it?

Students benefit from increased reporting time.
According to the old schedule of Josaa 2025 counseling, the candidates who were allotted seats in the first round had to report by June 20. Now in the new schedule, the students who have been allotted seats based on the first round can report till June 22. Now such students will be able to upload the documents as well as pay the seat acceptance fee by 5 pm on Sunday, June 22. Overall, the students who were allotted seats in the first round and did not complete the reporting process now have time till June 22 to complete all the formalities.

What changed in the new schedule

After the new schedule was released by JoSAA, there has been a major change in the previously released schedule. Let us understand below what program will be conducted on which date based on the new schedule.

Now the second round is on June 25

According to the new schedule of JoSAA 2025 counseling, now the payment-related problems of such students who tried to make payment before the scheduled time will be resolved by 5 pm on June 23. At the same time, the last date to answer the questions of the first round is fixed till 10 am on June 24. Similarly, seats will be allotted based on the second round by 5 pm on June 25.

According to the new schedule, the students selected in the second round will have to do online reporting from June 25 to June 29 at 5 pm. During this time they will have to pay fees, and upload documents. After this, problems related to fee payment of Round 2 will be resolved on June 30. Seats will be allotted based on the third round by 10 am on July 2.
