An Indigo aircraft 6E 6764, which was going from Guwahati to Chennai, sent a Mayday message to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) after which the aircraft was diverted and an emergency landing was made in Bangalore. According to media reports, there was a lack of fuel in the aircraft, due to which the pilot gave the Mayday fuel message. The aircraft had 168 passengers aboard. The incident took place on June 19, two days ago. The aircraft landed at Bangalore Airport at 8:15 pm, after which fuel was filled there. At 10:24 pm, the aircraft took off to Chennai and landing in a normal way at its destination. It is being told that the pilot has been removed after the incident.

According to media reports, due to high air traffic at Chennai Airport, the aircraft number 6E 6764 could not get the permission of landing on time. Due to which the aircraft had to travel in the sky for a long time and due to this, the fuel in it was reduced. Let me tell you that Mayday is an emergency message. In a serious emergency event in an aircraft, it is sent by the pilot to the air traffic controller.

On June 12, an Air India aircraft pilot, crashed in Ahmedabad, also sent a Mayday message to the ATC. But when the ATC responded to the pilot’s call, the response was not received from the other side and after that the plane crashed. Since the Ahmedabad aircraft accident, there have been many technical faults in the aircraft. A day earlier on June 20, an indigo aircraft caused a technical fault flying in the air. The aircraft took off from Chennai to Madurai. About 30 minutes later, the pilot came to know about technical fault and the aircraft had to return to Chennai Airport.
