David Corenswet's message for Superman
In an interview with
ABS CBN News, David stated, "It's the kind of thing that one might feel a bit embarrassed about being excited for a superhero movie. But that, I believe, is an example that Superman demonstrates for us, which is that you shouldn't feel ashamed to be enthusiastic and hopeful and excited and to express that."
The actor continued, "Because the truth is, even if there's 1 or 2 or 3% of the people around you who discourage you, (saying) 'Oh, it's so you're wearing trunks on the outside, like, who are you?' The majority of people are secretly feeling a bit of excitement about wanting to wear their trunks. And they just don't. They don't feel like they have the permission yet to get excited."
