New Delhi: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will commence the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2025 session 2 today, June 22. Conducted in a computer-based format, the test will be held till June 26, 2025. Each day will have two slots- slot 1 will be from 9 AM to 12 PM and slot 2 from 2 PM to 5 PM. The BITSAT session 2 admit card was issued on June 20 on the official website, bitsadmission.com.
BITSAT Session 2 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme
As per the BITSAT marking scheme, three marks will be awarded for every correct answer, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response and 0 marks will be given for questions left unattempted. Additionally, candidates who complete all 130 questions within the given time can attempt 12 bonus questions — three each from physics, chemistry, mathematics or biology and logical reasoning.
Shift 1: Gate opens at 8 AM, exam starts at 9 and ends at 12 PM
Shift 2: Gate opens at 1 PM, exam is from 2 to 5 PM
What to carry?
Candidates must bring the below documents and necessary things to attempt the paper-
Printed admit card
Valid photo ID (aadhaar, passport, voter ID or similar other)
Blue ballpoint pen
Two passport‑size photographs as per admit card
Prohibited Items, Dress Guidelines
Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices
Jewellery, watches, metallic accessories
Shoes with thick soles or metal parts—prefer simple slippers/sandals
Bags, snacks, geometry boxes, books, notes
Wear comfortable, light-colored, minimal clothing to facilitate smooth security checks.
Upon arrival, candidates will undergo multi-level checks. Rough sheets will be provided to the candidates inside the exam hall.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam centre at least 60 minutes early. One must check the documents and the admit card thoroughly. Candidates must manage time wisely to attempt all 130 questions.
