The major cities of this state-Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur and Alwar-are not only to their royal past, but also from their beautiful tourist destinations that attract millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year. Jaipur – Pink city pride
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is known as “Pink City”. The city is world famous for its beautiful havelis, forts and markets.

Amer Fort: This fort, located a few kilometers from Jaipur, is famous for its Rajputana architecture and Sheesh Mahal.
Hawa Mahal: The queens used to view the city with the windows of this five -storey building.
City Palace: This grand palace located in the middle of Jaipur is a symbol of the glory of the royal family.
Jantar Mantar: This observatory included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site is an amazing example of astronomical calculations.
Jal Mahal and Nahargarh Fort are also among the major attractions of the city.

Jodhpur – blue city of desert
Jodhpur, also known as “Blue City”, is situated on the banks of the Thar desert. Its blue colored havelis and a huge fort are its identity.
Mehrangarh Fort: This huge fort is situated on a hill above the city of Jodhpur and its grandeur is made on seeing it.
Umaid Bhawan Palace: This modern era palace is now used as a hotel and museum.
Jaswant Thada: This memorial made of marble was built in memory of King Jaswant Singh.
Clock tower and winter markets make the culture here even more interesting.

Bikaner – Sand city and camel house
The history and heritage of Bikaner is reflected in its architecture. The city is famous for its camels, sweets and Junagadh Fort.
Junagadh Fort: This fort is the most prominent attraction of Bikaner, which is known for unique carvings and royal grandeur.
Karni Mata Temple (Temple with Mice): This temple is famous for thousands of its mice which are considered to be revered here.

Lalgarh Palace and Gajner Palace also reflect the beautiful heritage of Bikaner.
The camel research center here is also the center of tourist attraction.

Udaipur – City of Lakes
Udaipur, called “City of Lakes”, is known for its lakes, palaces and romantic atmosphere.
City Palace: This palace, built on the banks of Lake Pichola, is a symbol of the royal tradition of Udaipur.
Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake: These lakes are very famous for the boat ride.
Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace): A wonderful view of the entire city and lakes is seen from here.
The bari of friends and the mansion of Bagore are also scenic spots.

Alwar – Historical city situated in the lap of Aravalli
Alwar is a historical city located near Delhi, which is known for its peace, greenery and forts.
Bala Fort: This huge fort is situated on the Aravalli hills and presents a beautiful view of the entire city.
Sariska Tiger Reserve: For wildlife lovers, this place is similar to heaven.
The umbrella of Musi Maharani and Vijay Mandir Palace are other attractions here.
Silisadh Lake is also an ideal place for walking and picnic.
