Eagle Nashik Titans (ENT) were crowned champions of the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2025 season after defeating Raigad Royals (RAR) by six wickets in a thrilling final. This marks Eagle Nashik Titans’ maiden MPL title, achieved in their second consecutive final appearance.

Eagle Nashik Titans had a dominant run throughout the tournament, finishing at the top of the table and securing a direct spot in the final after overcoming Puneri Bappa in Qualifier 1. Raigad Royals, who were placed third in the league stage, took the longer route, defeating Kolhapur Tuskers in the Eliminator and then Puneri Bappa in Qualifier 2 to earn their spot in the summit clash.

In the final, Eagle Nashik Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Raigad Royals had a shaky start as opener Vicky Ostwal was dismissed for a golden duck on the very first ball. However, Siddhesh Veer and Harsh Mogaveera brought the innings back on track with a solid 111-run partnership for the second wicket. Mogaveera scored a composed 48, while Niraj Joshi chipped in with a quick 27 off 18 deliveries after Mogaveera’s dismissal.

The star of the innings was Veer, who remained unbeaten on 99 off just 59 balls, smashing 11 fours and four sixes. His knock powered Raigad Royals to a strong total of 190/4 in 20 overs. Mukesh Choudhary was the pick of the bowlers for Eagle Nashik Titans who grabbed two wickets.

Eagle Nashik Titans needed to chase 191 and got off to a steady start as openers Mandar Bhandari (28 off 22) and Arshin Kulkarni put up a 62-run opening stand. Although they lost a couple of quick wickets in the middle, Kulkarni anchored the chase with a crucial 77 off 53 balls.

The finishing touches were applied by Ranjeet Nikam (31* off 13) and Atharva Kale (23* off 7), who played fiery cameos to seal the victory in a rain-interrupted contest. Eagle Nashik Titans completed the chase with five balls to spare. For Raigad Royals, Tanay Sanghvi picked up two wickets.
