To view their unique allocation results, students must log in with their barcode number, registered cellphone number, and captcha code. Depending on their preferences for seat distribution, candidates can select from three choices after checking: freeze, float, or slide.

Step 1: Go to samsodisha.gov.in, the official SAMS Odisha website.

Step 2: Click the link on the webpage that says "Know your status (Second Selection)."

Step 3: Enter the necessary information, including the captcha, registered mobile number, and barcode number.

Step 4: The screen will show the allocation outcome for the second round.

Step 5: Download the allocation status and store it for later use.

To lock their selection, candidates who are happy with their seat assignment must choose the "freeze" option. They have to pay the admission acceptance fee online after the seat is frozen. It is required that you physically report to the designated college for document verification between June 23 and June 25, 2025.

The "float" option is an alternative for people who want to keep their existing allocation while also looking into better possibilities in the upcoming rounds.

A candidate can use the "slide" option to apply for a possible upgrade in the next round of allotment if they are unhappy with their current seat.
