Salman Khan’s home is known for being a warm, welcoming place, often filled with guests, friends, and extended family. But on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the Bollywood superstar shared a hilarious and unbelievable incident that left the audience in splits.
Appearing as the first guest of the show’s third season, which began streaming on Netflix on June 21, Salman opened up about a time when a complete stranger lived in his house for an entire week—and the whole family unknowingly served him like a guest.
“Whose Friend Is He?” – The Mystery Guest
Recalling the incident, Salman said the whole thing started with a party at their home, attended by many of their friends. A week later, as the family sat around the dining table, one boy casually complained about the food, saying, “Today’s meat isn’t cooked right—too much chilli.”
Everyone was stunned. Who was this guy?
They looked at one another, silently asking, “Is he your friend?” Turns out, no one knew him.
He Just... Stayed
Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, finally asked the boy, “Whose friend are you?” The boy replied that he had come with someone during the party—but felt so comfortable and at home that he just… stayed.
In true Khan family spirit, no one had questioned him for an entire week, offering him food, space, and warmth like any other guest. The stranger had quite literally blended into the household.
A Glimpse Into the Khan Household
This funny episode is just one of many that reflect the open-hearted and laid-back atmosphere of Salman’s home. Known for their generosity and strong family values, the Khans are famous for making people feel like they belong—which, clearly, can sometimes be taken a bit too literally!
