Adani group: Giving a new direction to India’s energy revolution, Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) has started India’s first 5 MW off-grid green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch, Gujarat. It is considered a historical achievement in the direction of the Green Energy Sector in the country.
Solar energy operated
This state-of-the-art plant is operated with 100% solar energy and also integrated the battery energy storage system (BESS), which facilitates it completely off-grind operation. That is, this plant is working with a completely green energy without any traditional grid support.
Automated technology and real-time control
The plant has a fully automated and close-loop electrolyzer system, which works according to the real-time renewable energy input. This system has the ability to handle the variability of solar power, which makes efficiency, safety and performance better.
A step towards self -sufficient India
The project is fully associated with the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NHM) of India, which aims to increase the energy of the country, to decide the energy intensive areas and make India a pioneer in green hydrogen production globally.
Heavy industries will be used
Green hydrogen will be used in areas such as fertilizer, refining, heavy transport. This project is also the proof-off-concept of the Green Hydrogen Hub to be established in Mundra, Gujarat in the coming time.
