Morrisons is making a major change in stores for More Card customers every Monday. The supermarket chain is rewarding customers who are signing up for its loyalty card scheme with a 10% discount in its cafe and all Market Street counters. The discount will be available every Monday when customers swipe their More Card at the checkout for the duration of the summer, so shoppers have the next eight weeks to take advantage of the deal. The Market Street counters include Morrisons Butchers, Fishmongers, Pie Shop, Bakery, Oven Fresh, Deli, Pizza, Cake Shop and a Salad Bar.

Customers can then check how much they have saved with their discount by looking at the bottom of their receipt. Morrisons said the 10% Market Street counter discount makes it even easier for shoppers to enjoy high-quality meats and fish without breaking the bank. Customers can also save on freshly baked goods and savoury pies at the in-store Pie Shop, Bakery, and Oven Fresh counters.

More Card holders will also be able to get a 10% discount in Morrisons Cafe and on Cafe Brews on Mondays throughout the summer.

Fraser Lovatt, Managing Director of Market Street at Morrisons, said: "We know our customers value the range, quality and service they get from our Market Street counters.

"So, as a thank you to our loyal More Card customers, we're thrilled to be offering them a 10% discount on our Market Street counters and in the Cafe every Monday."

The discount comes after Morrisons expanded its More Card loyalty scheme last month to allow customers to earn extra points when shopping.

More Card members can now earn points when shopping with more than 300 participating brands, including eBay, Just Eat, Very, Expedia and ASOS, among others, rather than just at Morrisons alone.

To earn More Points, customers need to sign into the Morrisons More App or website, browse the list of More Partners, click through to the partner site and complete their purchase.

All purchases must be made through the Morrisons More App or website for points to be awarded. More points are then tracked and added to shoppers' accounts automatically.

The new digital-only feature is available to all registered More Card customers and gives customers extra ways to boost their points on purchases outside of Morrisons, meaning they can earn 'Fivers' faster.

Once customers have reached 5,000 points, these can then be converted into a £5 voucher - known as a Morrisons 'Fiver' - to be redeemed on future purchases in store or online.

If you don't have a More card, it's free to sign up online, via the More Card app, or by picking up a physical card in store. You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to get a card and this will give you access to lower prices on hundreds of Morrisons items.
