It has been revealed that Princess Beatrice's stepson is learning Chinese, which is considered very difficult to master by some language learners. In a candid interview, mother of Christopher 'Wolfie' Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, Dara Huang, revealed that she hired a nanny to help Wolfie speak the language, and he is doing really well.
In an interview, the mother of eight-year-old Wolfie revealed the importance of "appreciating your roots". She explained: "I hired a nanny to teach him Chinese. His Chinese is better than mine."
The American architect, who is the ex-partner of Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, also touched upon the difficulties of growing up in America and trying to keep your own identity and culture.
Proud mum Dara also said that she throws a Chinese New Year party for Wolfie for him and their friends each year. She said: "I have a son, he is eight years old. Every year, I throw him a big Chinese New Year party. All his friends come over and they wear traditional Chinese outfits.
"His favourite things are bubble tea, noodles and dumplings."
In the social media post, the interview showed pictures of Wolfie hanging out with his friends and celebrating the festivities.
Fans of Wolfie's mum have rushed to comment on the video, saying it is "inspiring" and "so beautiful" for her to pass down the culture to her son.
Another said: "You are such a great person Dara. So inspiring."
It is a rarity for Wolfie to be documented during a public appearance, although he was last seen publicly with the Royal Family on Christmas Day.
Accompanying Edoardo and Beatrice, Wolfie attended the Christmas Morning Service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate last year.
He has also been a special guest at the Princess of Wales' Together At Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey and is seen to enjoy his time with the Royal Family.
